A 7-year old beagle named Jackson was caught in a muskrat trap. Officials estimate he was ensnared for at least 36 hours. The dog had been missing for 14 days. The owner of the trap is facing charges of animal cruelty and possibly other charges through the gaming commission. Jackson had his front left leg amuputated from the ordeal.
