A pet bobcat escaped and is missing. This is the second time the animal has escaped in 6 months. The animal’s escape is a violation of the guardian’s permit.

A Gaboon Viper, a highly poisonous snake, was found outside of an apartment complex. Officials are trying to locate the snake, as well as the owner. It is illegal to own a Gaboon Viper in South Carolina.

A male orangutans named Rocky and Knobi escaped their primary enclosure at the Indianapolis Zoo. Rocky dismanteld a web camara in the building before both animals were lured back into their enclosure. The zoo was in lockdown while the animals were missing.

Three elephants escaped from a Shriner’s circus into the parking lot where the circus was held. No one was hurt, although some cars were damaged. The show was put on by Royal Hanneford Circus, but they hired Carson & Barnes Circus to exhibit the animals. Both companies were fined by the USDA for the incident.
