A ball python named Brownie escaped from its enclosure in a classroom. Florida F&W are searching for the snake.

A ‘gator wrangler’ was attacked by the alligator he was trying to wrangle. The man was preparing to tape the alligator’s mouth when the alligator grabbed him by the arm. The man sustained 20 inch deep bites to his arm, bicep and wrist.

Two 7-foot “pet” alligators were found in a backyard after a woman pulling weeds discovered the animals. The guardian did not have a license for the alligators and the animals will be re-homed after the guardian returns from his vacation.

A newborn is recovering and his mother faces possible criminal charges after police say a pet raccoon attacked the infant. The baby was left inside the home with two pet raccoons without proper license or permits. The raccoons were euthanized on scene.

Almost 400 fish were killed after a chemical mix-up at the Texas State Aquarium.

Patrons of a strip mall found a 4-foot crocodile wandering around with the mouth taped shut. The reptile was apparently abandoned in front of a pet store in the mall inside of plastic tub from which the animal managed to escape. Police were called and turned over to the CA Fish and Wildlife.

Seven chimpanzees used a 6-foot tree branch to escape their enclosure during the zoos operation. Zoo staff used treats to entice the animals back. No patrons were hurt.

A woman looking for her pet snake who escaped while being “walked” found different snake, presumably another escapee. The woman is still looking for her snake.
