Mike, a two-year-old elephant owned by Ringling Brothers, died of a virus called elephant endotheliotropic herpesvirus (EEHV) at their “conservation center.”

A 99-year-old woman was awakened by a kinkajou named “Banana” touching her face. A family friend captured the animal and took her to a veterinary hospital, where her owner, Ray Fernandez, claimed her.
