July 12, 2016 Baton Rouge, LA Two dogs broke into the Baton Rouge Zoo during the night and killed 3 greater spot-nosed guenons. The monkeys had reached out of their cage toward the dogs, and were “basically chewed up” according to a zoo director. July 8, 2016 Grand Rapids, MI Eighteen cownose stingrays and three bamboo sharks died overnight at John Ball Zoo.
