Zimbabwe veterinary surgeons made the decision to put down an eight-year-old rhino named Ntombi, who appeared on an Animal Planet television show in 2011. Ntombi was shot by poachers last Tuesday and then lingered on, wounded, riddled with bullets, for close to a week.
