The search continues for the elusive lion-like animal who’s been running around Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Experts say the big cat is most likely an exotic pet. According to Kate Dylewsky, program associate at Born Free USA, an animal like this can’t be tamed—regardless of how he or she has been raised. “No matter the circumstances with which they were born, [they] still have all of their wild instincts, and they certainly still have all of their wild strength,” explains Dylewsky. If and when the animal is captured, Dylewsky says he or she should be rehomed to a reputable sanctuary.
