Tasmanian Devil Killed at New Mexico Zoo

The killing of a rare Tasmanian devil on loan from Australia has prompted an increase in security at Albuquerque BioPark Zoo—as well as a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. An examination concluded that Jasper, the Tasmanian devil, died at the zoo last week from a fractured skull and brain trauma. A piece of asphalt was found nearby.
