AB 403 Would Make Bear Hunt Permanent [2011]

Update (September 2011): State wildlife commissions voted 8-0 at a meeting in Reno to continue Nevada’s first ever bear hunt again next year and every year after that from Aug. 20 to Dec. 31.

Update (June 2011): This bill did not pass. The Legislature adjourned has adjourned without reaching a Senate vote on this issue.

Bill description: Section 1.1 (c) of this bill will make the proposed black bear hunt (Aug. 20-Dec. 31) permanent.[teaserbreak]
