SB 1704 Would Place Restrictions on Body-Gripping Traps [2011]

Bill description: Senate Bill 1704 would prohibit the following: placing, setting or maintaining a body-gripping trap (on land) within 30 feet of bait that is not completely covered and concealed; and placing, setting, maintaining or using a body-gripping trap within a quarter-mile of certain public areas (a residence, school, picnic area, playground, beach, campground, road, highway, public trail, golf course or parking lot).[teaserbreak]
