While most of the country seems to have suffered severe winter storms over the holiday period, we got off lightly with just a couple of cool days before the temperatures hit the 80s again. Introductions between individuals can sometimes take longer than expected. This has been the case with the introduction between McKenzie, Oscar, and Ollie with Loekey, the recent arrival. A second attempt over the weekend has been more positive and we are hopeful that this time the group dynamics will be smooth. It has certainly been very rewarding to watch Loekey and Ollie spending time together. Ollie is a shy, timid individual who tends to be dominated by McKenzie. However, it looks like Loekey may help to bring Ollie out of himself.

Until next week,

Sarah
