Summary:
The Indianapolis Zoo announced Thursday that the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin that was born earlier this month has died. Circumstances surrounding the dolphin’s death are not yet known. A necropsy did not reveal a cause. All adult females have lost calves and only 3 calves have made it to adulthood since the zoo acquired dolphins.
