Summary:

A highly venomous 2-foot-long suphan monocled cobra got out of his cage in the owner’s house. A visitor to the house opened the cage to get the snake to move, and the cobra lunged at the man, then slithered away. Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission search the area but found nothing. The visitor was charged with a misdemeanor.
