Born Free USA joined other wildlife groups in sending two letters—one to the Senate and one to the House of Representatives—opposing legislation that would weaken the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The ESA is one of the nation’s most important, effective, and popular wildlife protection laws, which has saved more than 99 percent of species listed under its care from extinction.
