H.B. 12: Mountain Lion Trapping

Bill Description:
This bill would legalize the trapping and snaring of mountain lions throughout the state of Wyoming.[teaserbreak]

Background:
It is currently legal to hunt mountain lions in Wyoming, including with the use of dogs. However, some within the state believe populations of game animals, such as mule deer, are too low, and are turning to cruel, indiscriminate trapping to further control and kill the alpha predator.
