Born Free Urges Ban on Ivory Sales in the United Kingdom

In the lead-up to the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) Standing Committee in Geneva, Switzerland (January 11-15), 26 conservation organizations—including Born Free USA and Born Free Foundation—have signed a letter to UK Prime Minister David Cameron, asking him to fulfil the pledge in the Conservative Party’s 2010 and 2015 election manifestos to “press for a total ban on ivory sales.” Click the link below to read the letter, signed by Born Free CEO Adam M.
