SeaWorld to Phase Out Controversial Killer Whale Show…

…But, the controversy isn’t over. SeaWorld, in a move to rebuild its brand and combat declining attendance, will phase out its traditional Shamu show in San Diego, with 2016 being the last year for theatrical performances. However, in 2017, the park plans to replace its Shamu performance with a different orca show. (The new show will be less about tricks and more about orcas’ natural behaviors in the wild.)
