‘Skeleton’ Tigers Forced to Perform for Shocked Audience

Thousands of people attended the Missouri State Fair last week to see one of the fair’s main attractions: The Amazing Rainforest Experience, which features a group of performing tigers. According to witnesses who saw the cats, the tigers appeared extremely emaciated and skeletal, with visible spines and hip bones. Although Missouri State Fair officials and spokespeople for The Amazing Rainforest Experience claim that the cats are in healthy condition, scientists and animal protection advocates disagree, pointing out that food deprivation is a well-known tactic used to intimidate and subdue captive wild animals and compel them to perform unnatural tricks.
