At a horrific German circus, lionesses Maggie and Sonja were caged in a tiny cramped trailer while being tormented and forced to perform painful and degrading tricks in return for food. Now rescued, the two big cats touched down in Britain this week, and will be permanently moved to Born Free’s Shamwari Wildlife Reserve in South Africa.
