Utah Re-Opens Turkey Hunt… But We’re Not Thankful

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Utah has reinstated a wild turkey hunt: its first in 30 years. In 1984, the state banned the hunt due to a dwindling turkey population. But, now that the population has replenished, the hunt has reopened. Nothing says ‘We’re glad that the turkey population has stabilized’ like shooting the new group of healthy birds…
