Greater Protections for Gray Wolves in California

In June 2014, the California Fish and Game Commission voted to list the gray wolf under the state’s Endangered Species Act. The 3-1 vote in favor of this petition went against the recommendation of state wildlife officials, siding instead with the commonsense need to protect this iconic and fragile species.
