SB 494 Limits the Allowable Uses of Traps [2013]

Update: This bill died in the Environment and Natural Resources Committee on 7/8/13.

Description: Prohibits the use of body-gripping traps to trap animals (with a few exceptions). SB 494 will ban trapping for recreation and commerce in fur, and impose reasonable restrictions to help protect pets and wildlife from these cruel and indiscriminate devices.
