West Virginia City Passes Ordinance Requiring a License for Exotic “Pets”

Following the frightening incident involving escape of a 9-foot python, later found dead under a neighbor’s home, the city of Ravenswood West Virginia passed an ordinance requiring owners of exotic pets to obtain a license and pay a fee to the city.
